Hi, I'm Brian Buchanan Jr.

One Piece, by Eiichiro Oda is my favorite anime. In it, a surgeon named "Law" has the ability to take a person's heart from their body encasing it in a glass like cube.

I thought that this was a perfect analogy to my photography philosophy:

-Capturing life's moments with surgical precision, making them last forever

The name of the move itself is "mes"(mess), which is Dutch for scalpel, which translates to Japanese as "mesu"(meh-soo).

Inspired by the Japanese kanji, I incorporated it into my logo, and Mesu Media was born!

Of all the art forms that I've practiced photography is without a doubt the medium that evokes the most passionate response. The ability to effectively share a story or emotion without the accompaniment of words has been my favorite skill to develop, and by creating this platform I am committed to documenting my journey as well as sharing this passion with others.
